Shirai-no-Taki Waterfall's "Icefall (Hyobaku)"

 ❄️ A miraculous natural art created by severe cold: "Icefall" When severe sub-zero temperatures persist for several days, the entire 96m-tall giant waterfall completely freezes, transforming into a mysterious and powerful "ice sculpture (icefall)." Climbers and photographers from all over the country visit to witness this fantastical winter-only spectacle woven by nature. 

Due to snow and ice, please prepare winter mountain gear (crampons, etc.) thoroughly and enjoy safely.
