🎇 Niihama's Biggest Excitement! A Dazzling Dance of Golden Taikodai - "One of Shikoku's Three Great Festivals" Luxurious and splendid Taikodai, 5.5m tall and weighing 3 tons, dance in the air during "Kakikurabe," an overwhelming spectacle. These are the hottest three days of the year, so beloved that local businesses and schools close!
All 54 Taikodai in the city parade. The unified gathering at Yamane Ground and the Kakikurabe at Ichinomiya Shrine on the final day are not to be missed.
