✨ Enchanting firefly lights to enjoy in the city Hotaru no Izumi, located behind the Saijo City General Culture Hall, is a relaxing spot with flowing spring water. From late May to early June, you can enjoy the dance of fireflies, and from mid-June, colorful hydrangeas.
It's perfect for an evening stroll, but please observe quietly as it is a tranquil location.

Mt. Ishizuchi Omatsuri Grand Festival
🗻 Summer Shinto ritual of Japan's Seven Sacred Mountains! Worshippers in white attire gather from all over the country. A grand summer festival held for 10 days from July 1st. The sight of three sacred statues being carried amidst the echoing conch shells is breathtaking. Please note that on July 1st, some areas are restricted to women.
During the period, the ropeway also operates on a special schedule. Many general climbers visit.
