🗻 Summer Shinto ritual of Japan's Seven Sacred Mountains! Worshippers in white attire gather from all over the country. A grand summer festival held for 10 days from July 1st. The sight of three sacred statues being carried amidst the echoing conch shells is breathtaking. Please note that on July 1st, some areas are restricted to women.
During the period, the ropeway also operates on a special schedule. Many general climbers visit.

🎆 Approximately 6,000 fireworks light up the night sky! Extra-large fireworks around Nyugawa. A major summer event in the Toyo area, succeeding the traditional Okagen Festival Citizen's Fireworks. An overwhelming number of fireworks are launched continuously.
Food stalls line up near the front of JR Nyugawa Station, making it very crowded.
